Information and Inspiration to Help YOU Step into Your Power
One of the most admirable characteristics a person can possess is persistence. Without persistence, no great achievement is possible.
Everyone can set goals and make plans for success; however, only a few succeed in achieving their goals. Developing persistence is a way to ensure that you will reach your goals and achieve success.
Here are four practical ways that you can develop persistence and achieve your goals.
One of the biggest challenges that people have, when they want to achieve their goals and create success, is procrastination. I was watching a video by a well-known promoter of the Law of Attraction who was talking about why people suffer from procrastination and while he covered one of the underlying reasons for it (limiting beliefs), he missed an important factor in what causes procrastination. I have said many times that success is 80% mindset and 20% strategy which means that, to me, there are two major causes of procrastination. Let’s examine those two causes.
Why Appreciating Your Achievements is Important. You have probably achieved many things in your life. You should appreciate them. Many people don’t. They either dismiss their achievements or they’re so busy moving on to the next thing that they fail to celebrate them. If you do this, you need to stop. It can set up barriers to achieving more. Learn how to break down those barriers by recognizing and appreciating your achievements.
It’s widely recognized that performance coaches are essential for success in sport, but it is rarely acknowledged that people have coaches to help them succeed in business and when facing life challenges.
We look at people like Sir Richard Branson and other highly successful business people and think they did it alone and that they must have super-human qualities to have overcome all their challenges themselves. But, every one of them has expert advisors, mentors and supporters.
If you want to be really successful, you need to understand that few people achieve success on their own. We all need a support team around us.
Believe it or not, there’s a lot of power in letting go and moving on – it’s the key to empowerment. I know it doesn’t necessarily feel like it. When something doesn’t work out the way we want it to, we tend to focus on what has happened in the past – what went wrong. You may be thinking that if you were to keep dwelling on what happened, maybe you will be able to figure it out. Maybe with enough contemplation, things would fall into place and you would see the rhyme and reason for the negative things that happened in the past. The truth is, focusing on the past is not going to help you one bit unless you look for the lessons and learn from your experiences.
One of the most limiting things a person can experience in this life is self-doubt. Self-doubt has the ability to keep you feeling locked away in a prison of your own insecurities. It will suffocate your ability to explore and be free to engage with opportunities and adventures and it will hold you back from ever achieving the things that you really want. Discover how you can overcome self-doubt and create the life you truly desire.
I’ve been reading Gregg Braden’s book “The Divine Matrix” which is a very interesting book about spirituality, quantum physics, and manifestation. I’m going to share a powerful example of manifestation from the book and the 2 magic words that resulted in manifesting miraculous healing. Gregg tells the story of how he watched the miracle on film, which lasted only 4 minutes.
The Law of Attraction is not only a statement about attraction, but it is also a suggestion for how we should think about situations in our lives. In particular, it urges us to think about abundance, rather than scarcity. For illustration’s sake, consider the following four situations to decide whether you have an abundance or scarcity mindset.
If you have never heard of a vision board before, it is simply a board that you can reference to reinforce some message about yourself or your goals. The official definition is: “a collage of images and words representing a person’s wishes or goals, intended to serve as inspiration or motivation.” In general, you place information and pictures on your vision board that represents aspects of your life. It could be personal, professional, or both. Find out the pros and cons of vision boards and how you can use them effectively to help you manifest your desires and achieve your dreams.
Does your head rule your heart or your heart rule your head?
For years I lived in a totally left-brained, head focused world. Although female by gender I was ruled by male energy – logic, action, analysis. I even did a psychometric test in my corporate days that confirmed this. At the time I had no understanding of the Divine Masculine and Feminine and felt that male energy was needed to be successful in the world. I began my awakening and spiritual journey in 2004 but it wasn’t until 5 years later in 2009 that I had my true spiritual awakening when I was touched by the Divine and my intuition was switched on. It was the beginning of a completely new phase in my life which manifested in my internal and external worlds. I put my intuition in control and remember feeling that I had Divine hands on my shoulders guiding me down my new path.
